Official: Los Angeles FC signs Luxembourg international Shaqno

Los Angeles FC has officially announced the signing of experienced defender Shaqno from AJ Auxerre.

Shaqno has signed with Los Angeles FC until 2025, marking his return to Major League Soccer. The 34-year-old defender has previously played for clubs such as Sheffield United, Mansfield Town, Le Mans, Cotterange, and New York City FC, joining AJ Auxerre from New York City FC last summer.

As a center-back, he has made 21 appearances for AJ Auxerre in the French Ligue 2 this season, along with one appearance in the French Cup.

Born in France, Shaqno made his debut for the Luxembourg national team in June 2013 in a 1-1 draw against Azerbaijan in a World Cup qualifier. He has since earned 69 caps for the national team, scoring 4 goals. He recently featured in the European Championship qualifying playoff match, where Luxembourg suffered a 0-2 defeat against Georgia, and was subsequently sent off during the game.
